Where Can Color Max be Used?

How Do Pine Straw & Mulch Decompose?
Pine straw and Mulch are affected by the combination of weather elements and harmful UV rays from the sun. Pine Straw and Mulch begin to decompose and change colors from brown to grey a soon as 30-60 day after spreading.

A very important note: In some cases, pine straw already begins oxidizing before it is ever applied depending on how old it is before application. Our Color Max ground cover solution slows the natural decomposition and oxidation process.

How Long Will Color Max Last?
It will normally last 6-8 months. However, some people realize it is lasting longer. The longevity of the colorant varies due to natural weather conditions.

Does the Pine Straw Look Fake After the Colorant Treatment?
NO. Our colorant went through color testing and matching creating a totally natural newly laid pine straw look. Many clients use Color Max on newly laid pine straw to enrich its look!

Is Color Max Safe for Plants and Animals?
Yes, Color Max treatments are water-based, non-toxic, and harmless to the environment, surrounding plants, animals and wildlife. We use raw materials to make the colorants from naturally occurring colors found in the earth’s surface.

How Long Does it Take for a Treatment of Color Max to Dry?
Normally it dries completely in approximately 30 minutes.

How is Color Max Applied?
Color Max is applied by highly skilled technicians in a comparable way that a liquid fertilizer company would spray your lawn. Our colorant is loaded in a large tank on our truck and is sprayed through a motorized pump.
